Our vision at Zetland Long Daycare Centre is to provide a consistent, high standard of care and early childhood education to children and families attending our service. In order to nurture enquiring minds we believe that we educate in a way that encourages individualism, critical thinking skills, initiative, choice and appreciation of differences. We embrace belonging, being and becoming, as a foundation for ensuring that the children in our setting experience quality teaching and learning as stated in the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

As early childhood educator’s we draw on our skills and knowledge of child development and the belonging, being and becoming of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to deliver high quality education and care. Through the use of our diverse teaching styles and practices we aim to provide a curriculum where children’s learning is inclusive, dynamic, complex and holistic. We recognise the child within the context of the family and their community. We believe that children thrive when families and early childhood educators work in partnership to support children’s learning.
